Kai Shun Knives

Kai Shun doesn’t make standard knives. Hand-crafted in Japan for over 100 years, each Kai Shun knife takes at least 100 meticulous, time-consuming steps to complete. That tradition, along with an unmistakable aesthetic, sets Kai Shun apart. 

I wanted to express that excellence in my design for Kai Shun’s New Zealand distributor. The final site features a clean, minimalist look, with large responsive blocks and oversized images highlighting the beauty of the blades.
